Computer Broadcasts in Real Time at INFOCOMM 97!
The RGB/Videolink 1650
RGB Spectrum proudly displayed the RGB/Videolink 1650, a state-of-the-art scan converter that transforms computer signals to broadcast standard video in real time, in full 24-bit color! These computer-generated images can then be recorded on videotape and displayed on video projectors, teleconferencing systems, and composite monitors.
The Videolink1650 automatically synchronizes to computer signals up to 1600 x 1280 pixels, interlaced or non-interlaced, thereby including virtually all desktop computers and workstations from Sun, DEC, HP, IBM, Silicon Graphics, and others.
"ZOOM" in
No zigging and zagging here! This beautiful zoom function lets you scale a portion of the image to fill the video screen. It also provides just the right amount of underscan/overscan adjustment. Synchronization and set-up are completely automatic because the RGB/1650 Videolink measures the input signal and sets the parameters for the sharpest picture, correct aspect ration, and size of the output image. Professional quality scan conversion has never been easier.
No "flicker" with DSP
State-of-the-art digital signal processing (DSP) circuitry eliminates interlace flicker in the output image. Even thin horizontal lines appear stable! With the three levels of filtering in the RGB/Videolink 1650, you get the best choice between image sharpness and flicker elimination.
