The Daytona RAIDarray includes an embedded CMD CRD-5300 SCSI-to-SCSI RAID controller. Each Daytona supports up to six low-profile or four full-height 3.5" disk drives. An 8 MM, 4 MM, a magneto-optical disk drive, a CD-ROM, or any other standard 5.25" half-height peripheral can be easily installed in a fixed slot at the top of the enclosure. The Daytona’s intelligent SCSI backplane eliminates cable and terminator integration problems, raising reliability to new heights. All modules are hot-swappable. Just add drivers, and the installation is complete.

With CMD’s proven "Viper" advanced RAID technology, each RAIDarray provides superb reliability and unmatched performance with extremely low integration and technical service costs. The Daytona "Viper"-based architecture is used world-wide in many mission-critical applications.

No New Operating Systems!

The Daytona RAIDarray’s SCSI-toSCSI design assures excellent compatibility because it is both operating system and application independent. It requires no special device driver or operating system modifications of any kind, thereby eliminating the need to obtain and install new operating system drivers every time you upgrade your OS to the latest version! It’s not Daytona Beach, but the Daytona RAIDarray is still a "hot number," now available through our local resellers.
